Sara Strickland has over ten years of experience working with students and families toward high school graduation and college matriculation. Her years of experience range from the high school classroom to college orientation offices, all of which contribute to a greater understanding of students’ college-going and academic needs.
During her time as a College Counselor in a private California high school Sara was a member of the Western and National Associations for College Admission Counseling (WACAC and NACAC, respectively). After her move to the Rocky Mountains Sara joined RMACAC and continued in NACAC where she most recently earned a Professional Certificate in College Admission Counseling for Emerging Leaders. Sara also holds a College Admissions Specialist certificate from the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) and a College and Career Readiness Credential from Southern Utah University.
In addition to her current role as a College Counselor, Sara coordinates Advanced Placement Exams and College Entrance Exams for her high school students alongside moderating the National Honor Society.
